Hey,
No one "gave" women the right to vote -- women had to fight tooth and nail for it. And even when the 19th Amendment was passed 102 years ago, only some women gained that right.
While Black women and other women of color would eventually win their right to vote, the attacks on those rights have never ended.
Today, it's more important than ever that we fight today to defend the voting rights won in the 15th Amendment, the 19th Amendment, the Voting Rights Act of 1965, and beyond. Bob is ready to vote to defend your right to vote. Will you stand with him?

The For the People Act would defend and expand voting rights for all Americans, reduce the influence of money in politics, prevent politicians from picking their voters through gerrymandering, and create new ethics rules to hold officeholders to a higher standard.
Put simply, it would help us defend and strengthen our democracy.
Last year, in the middle of a global health crisis, Donald Trump and his allies sabotaged the United States Postal Service in an attempt to prevent Americans from voting by mail. Republicans sued election officials to try to stop early voting and throw away valid ballots, and many of these tactics were targeted at working people and people of color.
Their attempt to rig last year's election by depriving eligible voters of their rights failed. But now, Republican legislators have only become more brazen in their attacks, with new voter suppression bills and voter purges making headlines each day.
We must fight back against attacks on your voting rights and our democracy. Join Bob in supporting the For the People Act now. [[link removed]]
Thank you,
Team Casey
