Back the Brits in Nottingham this week!
Harriet Dart, Fran Jones and Katie Boulter have received wildcard entries to the LTA’s Viking Open Nottingham.
The trio will be competing against a stellar entry list including ten time Grand Slam champion Venus Williams, 2017 champion Donna Vekic, two-time finalist Johanna Konta and British No.2 Heather Watson who are on the entry list for the WTA 250 level tournament.
Konta and Vekic are two of 13 players in the WTA Top 50 to have entered the competition – a list that also includes Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina, American Alison Riske and Swiss world No.11 Belinda Bencic.
The ATP Challenger 125 event at the Viking Open Nottingham will run concurrently with Brits Dan Evans, Ryan Peniston, and Jay Clarke all given wildcards to play.
This year’s tournament is expected to operate at approximately 25% supporter capacity due to Government rules on social distancing and restrictions on the number of supporters at sporting events. You need to be an LTA Advantage member to book - it's free to sign up.

Next weekend marks the start of Open Air Theatre season.
The manicured gardens and beautiful ruins of Newstead Abbey and the spectacular Elizabethan mansion and park at Wollaton are once again offering a fantastic season of open air theatre performances throughout the summer.

A variety of live music both free and ticketed, food and drink, comedy, and interactive events, all centred around the park’s iconic bandstand!
The first events announced include concerts from music heroes Tony Hadley (Pictured) and Richard Thompson, an all-day folk event hosted by singer-songwriter Beans On Toast, the Arboretum Beer Festival, street food festivals from Nottingham Diners Club, and regular Sunday yoga and wellness sessions presented by Sweaty Betty.
The spacious outdoor location means that, even if social distancing measures are still in place, all events will be able to safely go ahead as scheduled.
