Dear 350 Chicago supporters,
    
We hope you are all doing well and starting to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. Here at 350 Chicago, we are looking to expand our work now that things are opening up again. Additionally, some very active volunteers are transitioning from their roles and beginning new endeavors in their lives.  
    
We are reaching out today with a call for volunteers! There are many volunteer opportunities available within the organization at various levels and means to help with the work of shifting from fossil fuels to 100% renewable energy. A good portion of it can even be done from your computer!

Areas we need help:

General 350 work:

Update information about allies in our spreadsheet on the organization’s shared drive
Reach out to ally organizations to identify ways to collaborate
Join the Communications Committee and help make the group’s work visible and relevant to the public by coordinating with other committees to publish content on our digital platforms

Divestment Campaign work:

Write a blog post related to our Divestment Campaign or another topic of interest
Reach out to ally organizations and ask them to join our coalition meetings on Monday nights
Reach out to ally organizations and ask them to sign on to our divestment endorsement letter
Research Chicago’s pension board members to find those who would be favorable to divestment
Help create presentations and informative documents to share in meetings with decision makers
Promote our campaign on social media

Actions:

We are looking for an Actions Organizer, who will plan actions to further our campaigns and drive them forward
