With a slim majority (currently it is 218-212 with several seats yet to be determined), the Democrats are behaving like the opposition does not exist. They are ramming through their Progressive agenda and sending bills to the Senate that would change our country forever if passed. Only the filibuster stands in their way, and the good graces of Democrats Krysten Sinema and Joe Manchin who have said they will protect it. What can Republicans do to stop this train? For some thoughts on this and other things, we will have our CD18 Congressman Brian Mast on June 7th at the Stadium Grill. While our fighters like Brian struggle against Pelosi’s minions in Washington, the state governments are also engaged in putting roadblocks in front of this Progressive caravan. In the current session, we are seeing bills to hold rioters accountable, solidify election integrity, and get our schools open and our economy booming. By the time of this meeting, the session will be over and HD85 Representative Rick Roth will fill us in on what was accomplished. He can also tell us what to expect from the redistricting that will happen before the 2022 elections, which is another function of the Florida Legislature.
