CNBC: Biden orders federal strategy to curb climate change risk to economy

President Biden just released a new executive order requiring federal agencies to assess and work to mitigate the economic dangers that the climate crisis could pose to our government and our financial system.

This is a step in the right direction -- but we can’t get complacent.

Sean’s Climate Risk Disclosure Act would help give President Biden’s mandate even more teeth by requiring companies to publicly disclose their contributions to the climate crisis and the risk management strategies they have in place.

We still need to collect 3,000 signatures in support of this critical legislation -- sign on to urge Congress to pass the Climate Risk Disclosure Act to help President Biden safeguard our economy against the existential threat of climate change!
