[1]Women's March
We need to talk about Texas,
John.
Republicans in Texas are waging a full blown attack to control pregnant
people’s bodies, dismantle our reproductive freedom, and undermine our
most basic democratic rights.
Just look at the headlines from the past couple of weeks:

What’s even worse is that Texas is just one example of a dangerous pattern
emerging across our country of state governments working to pass as many
anti-abortion and voter suppression laws as possible.
We need all hands on deck to fight back. [ [link removed] ]Will you make an
urgent $3 donation right now to make sure Women’s March has
the funds to organize on the local and national level to defend our
reproductive freedom and voting rights?[ [link removed] ]DONATE $3 →
We’ll be honest with you,
John: What’s happening in
Texas and many states across our country is terrifying.
It’s no coincidence that all of these attacks are raining down at the same
time: State legislatures know that this is their chance to take their
anti-women agenda to the next level now that there’s an ultra-conservative
majority on the Supreme Court. It’s a harsh reminder that Trump may be
gone — but his misogynistic and racist agenda is still alive and being
carried out by his supporters.
But we’ve made it clear we’re not going down quietly: In the past couple
of weeks, a powerful, women-led movement has risen up to fight back
against these attacks.
Women, especially women of color, are leading efforts to put pressure on
companies and their elected officials to stand against Texas Republicans
orchestrating these efforts to strip away our rights. High school graduate
Paxton Smith has gone viral for speaking out at her high school graduation
about the importance of abortion rights and has inspired millions of other
young women to rise up in this fight. And Women’s Marchers have been hard
at work organizing to put pressure on our elected officials on the local
and federal level to end this assault on our democracy and the rights
enshrined to us from Roe v. Wade.

Please remember this: History has taught us that there’s nothing more
powerful than women organizing together for our feminist values. We know
it’s true because this is how we defeated Trump, flipped the Senate, and
stopped other voter suppression bills in the past.
But our hard work isn’t over. We need to prepare and fight harder than
ever to mobilize our volunteer and organizing teams against these attacks.
[ [link removed] ]So today we’re asking for your help: Can you join this powerful,
women-led movement rising up across the country and chip
in $3 to help fight back against this wave of anti-women
legislation?
Keep fighting,
Women’s March
