Republicans probably wish A.G. Eric Holder would just stay quiet.
He’s been speaking forcefully about the danger our country is in from their attacks on democracy. In an interview with Texas Standard, he told listeners that "We should be energized, galvanized, motivated" to fight – and here at the NDRC, we're taking his words to heart.
What about you, John? Will you fight alongside us? Pitch in now, because this could be our last chance to save democracy.
Restricting voting rights. Manipulating the maps. Spreading disinformation about the 2020 election. Putting partisans in charge of election processes. Lying about the For the People Act. This is just some of what Republicans are doing to undermine our democracy. If they're allowed to get away with it, our elections could be rendered meaningless .
So we have to fight – especially now, as GOP state legislatures are passing voting restrictions and openly plotting to gerrymander Democrats out of their seats. Time is running out to heed A.G. Holder's call and give this battle everything we've got. Are you in?
