Friend, June 15, 2021 will mark 9 years since immigrant youth won the DACA program (isn’t it crazy how time flies by?!)
As a DACA recipient and organizer in the DMV, my community and I have tirelessly fought to win DACA and protect DACA from Republican attacks. But, DACA is still not enough because many of our loved ones and community members have been left out and are at risk of deportation and family separation everyday. We need permanent protections for ALL.
So, to celebrate DACA’s 9th birthday, the team at UWD and I are taking action in D.C. on Tuesday, June 15th, 2021 at 12PM at Lafayette Park to once again show our people power! And we couldn’t go on without inviting you, Friend! Are you down?

Here’s a rundown on what you can expect when you’re there …
🔵 First, we’ll be meeting up at Lafayette Park to say heyy and get you + everyone there hyped up and ready to take action
🔵 Then (the fun part!) we’ll be marching to Capitol Hill and delivering thousands of petitions to Democrats in Congress
🔵 All while chanting and demanding citizenship for ALL
DACA is not enough and our communities cannot wait. Citizenship is relief and we need relief now! So, what do you say? Join us in D.C. on June 15th to take action with us!
