#team-political-power is getting ready for DC's budget hearings, happening June 3rd-24th, and we're currently recruiting people to testify on the following four issues:

🚓 Defund MPD (June 10th, 9:30 am-6:00 pm)

🏘️ Housing (June 16th, 9:30 am-3:00 pm)

📚 DC Schools (deadline to submit written testimony: June 24th)

💰 Taxing the Wealthy (June 25th, 9:00 am-6:00 pm)

If you're passionate about one or all of these issues, we'd love to have you testify! Team Political Power has already put together talking points (look at ✨ our summer policy agenda✨) and a testimony guide ready for you to use 🌞 and we will have a very ~ fun ~ meeting to practice giving testimonies!! This is a great way to 📣 make your voice heard 📣 on an issue that matters a lot to you!
