Last week we drank a toast to President Biden submitting his budget WITHOUT the Hyde Amendment, making him the first president to do so in decades.

NOW it's up to Congress to keep this momentum going and pass federal spending bills without Hyde! Can you write a quick message to your member of Congress and urge them to pass federal spending bills without abortion coverage bans, including the Hyde Amendment?

The Hyde Amendment and other barriers to abortion access have caused the greatest harm to Black, Indigenous, Latinx, and Asian communities. For far too long, anti-abortion politicians have used the Hyde Amendment to deny abortion coverage for people working to make ends meet. Passing federal spending bills without abortion coverage bans must be a racial and economic justice priority for our members of Congress. 

It’s time for Congress to be bold: send a message to your members of Congress and urge them to pass federal spending bills without abortion coverage bans, including the Hyde Amendment.
