Stanton Healthcare Belfast will hold an OPEN DAY on Saturday 26th June from 1.30pm to 4.00pm. Come along and meet the Stanton Team and have a chat about volunteering with us. See below for a list of the opportunities we have available.
Stanton Healthcare is a pregnancy resource centre which provides care, compassionate solutions and practical support to women facing unplanned pregnancies in Northern Ireland.

ADMINISTRATIVE
Office Assistant - Assist staff with data entry, bulk mailings, copying, filing, etc.
Receptionist - Greet and check in clients, answer phones, and schedule appointments. Assist staff with light clerical duties as needed.
Computer Maintenance - Maintain, upgrade and troubleshoot office computers. Serve as a resource and tech support.
Handyman/woman - Help with repairs, maintenance, painting & decorating, joinery, etc for Centre as needed.
CLIENT SERVICES
Pregnancy Advisor - Advise clients facing an unplanned pregnancy. Provide information regarding abortion, parenting or adoption.
Client Advocate - Follow up practical support for clients, including: well-being visits ; hospital appointments, delivering maternity & baby supplies; etc.
Helpline Listener - Answer the Stanton mobile phone after Centre closing hours, or on weekends.
Maintaining ‘Baby Boutique’ Supplies - Assist with keeping inventory of our donated supplies (nappies, wipes, baby food, formula, baby clothes, maternity clothes, etc) as well as managing the distribution of these supplies to our clients.
Prayer Team - Receive prayer requests by text or email on a regular basis to pray for our clients, staff and volunteers at the Centre, and also receive ‘emergency’ prayer requests when they arise.
DEVELOPMENT
Fundraising & Donor Development - Assist with fundraising efforts through mailings, organising Centre visits for potential donors, and special events both online and in person.
Community Liaison - Promote Stanton in your local community by publicising Stanton events and needs to your local church and community groups. Distribute Stanton fliers and/or brochures to the various churches, schools and businesses in Northern Ireland.
Hosting & Hospitality - Host an ‘Information Evening’ in your home by inviting a few friends over to hear about the ministry of Stanton. Other opportunities include providing hospitality at events, e.g. - “meeting & greeting”, volunteering at Information Booths and Refreshment Tables.
Graphic Design - Create fliers, newsletters, posters, web/social media graphics, etc to promote various events and services for Stanton Healthcare. Experience essential.
Social Media Team - Help with our social media websites, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc
Video / Audio Tech Team - Help with video production, photography, sound, etc. Experience essential.
Special Events - Serve on our committee to plan, organise and implement special events throughout the year. Main events include ‘Gala Ball’ Fundraising banquet; Sponsored Walks and Marathons; Concerts, etc.
Public Relations Team - Join our PR team to speak in churches, community groups, Information Evenings, schools, etc promoting Stanton.
PROFESSIONAL
Nurse (Practitioner or Registered) - Assist with Centre services such as Pregnancy Tests and Ultrasounds. Must have a valid/current nursing license. Training for limited obstetrical ultrasounds can be provided.
Sonographer - Perform ultrasound exams for pregnant clients. Usually 4 hour shifts one day a week.
Post-Abortion Counselor - Provide loving, compassionate care for women experiencing the regret of a previous abortion, helping them work through emotional, physical and spiritual effects of abortion.
Therapist - Licensed therapist to provide short-term professional counselling for clients.
