Folks: Here in Georgia, we’ve known about Marjorie Taylor Greene’s bigotry, racism, and dangerous conspiracy theories for a while now. Now, the whole country is seeing headlines like this:

“GOP congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene indicated support for executing Democrats before running for Congress” (CNN)

The whole country is also seeing something else: Despite spreading dangerous lies about COVID, Democrats, and the 2020 election -- including those that incited the January 6 insurrection -- MTG is barely facing ANY consequences.

In fact, MTG is one of the House’s top fundraisers this year, setting a dangerous standard for her fellow Republicans in Congress.

Rep. Jimmy Gomez has introduced a resolution to expel MTG from Congress. Expelling a member of Congress is a rare and extraordinary step -- it’s happened only five times in our history.

But MTG’s harassment, dishonesty, and involvement in the January 6 attack make her not just an embarrassment to Georgia, but a danger to our democracy.
