By now, you likely know Nina Turner. She’s a Justice Democrats-endorsed
candidate and was a national co-chair for Bernie Sanders’ 2020
presidential campaign. Her primary to represent Ohio’s 11th District in
Congress (OH-11) is in August, and she has a groundswell of grassroots
support. Just look at this recent poll:

Justice Democrats and our grassroots supporters helped Nina reach this
strong position by raising more than $40,000 for her so far. That includes
more than $30,000 right after we endorsed her. Now, we need to bring that
kind of energy and support to the newest Justice Democrat: Kina Collins.

Kina is an organizer from a working-class background focused on addressing
the economic, social, and racial inequalities in her district and beyond.
She’s spent her life organizing for Medicare for All, racial justice, and
an end to police violence.

And her run for Congress is taking place in a key district, at the heart
of America’s inequality crisis. Illinois' 7th Congressional District
(IL-7) is the most unequal district in the country. Working-class
communities have been left behind, and the pandemic has only made things
worse. Wealthy parts of this district have an average life expectancy of
30 years longer than less privileged areas in the very same city. 28% of
all of the gun violence in Illinois is in IL-7. This all needs to change.

The only way we add as many Justice Democrats to Congress as possible is
by getting your early support for new, insurgent primary challengers like
Kina Collins. Nina Turner is doing so well because of grassroots support
pouring in from OH-11 and across the country. Let’s send Kina the same
type of support:

elect Kina and overcome the status quo together.
