After the shameful Presidential election last
year, our mandate to Republicans in the Texas State legislature
was crystal clear.

We must pass comprehensive, common-sense
reforms to prevent unverified, illegal votes from destroying the
integrity of our elections.

Frankly, I do not care what Joe Biden, Kamala
Harris, Robert Francis O'Rourke, or any of the other progressive
socialist leftists have to say about it.

Because no matter how hard they try to cut us
out of the conversation and delegitimize our election integrity
reforms as racist remnants of the Jim Crow era, history will
always prove them wrong.

At the same time that Black men founded the
Republican Party of Texas over 154 years ago, the Democrats
founded the Ku Klux Klan and instituted policies like Jim Crow,
the poll tax, and the literacy tax to prevent black men from
freely exercising their right to vote.

So as a Black Republican, I will not sit idly
by and allow the leftist Democrats to slander me as a "racist"
for believing in stronger voter verification laws while
simultaneously trying to sneak unconstitutional bills like HR1
through Congress.
