Usually after a president is defeated, they leave the public eye for a while. John, we wish that was the case here.
After several months of hearing relatively little from Donald Trump, he hit the campaign trail this past weekend in North Carolina. He headlined the GOP’s state convention on Saturday on behalf of NC Republicans up for election during the midterms.
Not only is this worrisome news for the 2022 election — but re-engaging his supporters positions Trump to run for president again in 2024.
John, here at Swalwell HQ, we know that can’t happen. So we want to know what you think: Do you think Trump should stay out of politics?
Can you take our quick 1-min survey and let us know how you feel about Trump’s recent re-entrance into politics?
Donald Trump’s stop in North Carolina wasn’t a one-time thing. He already has several more rallies on the calendar for June & July!
We’re sure that any stories Trump has to share with his supporters will be filled with hateful messages and misinformation. On Tuesday, we heard he reportedly is telling “a number of people he’s in contact with that he expects he will get reinstated” as president by August!!
We’ve seen what his inflammatory rhetoric has done in the past, so we know this is serious. John: Will you take our short 1-min survey and tell us what you think? Should Trump stay out of politics?
Thanks,
— Team Swalwell
