Hi John, I wanted to make sure you saw this, because it’s the moment we’ve been dreading for years:
The Supreme Court is preparing to take on a case that could drastically change gun laws in our country. The gun lobby is pushing for a Constitutional right to carry handguns in public spaces to use in “armed confrontation” — in other words, to fire when they choose to.
If that scares you, it should — especially with this conservative Court. This decision could make the NRA’s dreams come true.
That's why it's more important than ever to have you with us. Our legal team is already working tirelessly to prepare for this case, and while we prepare to fight in court, we need your help to make it clear that the majority of Americans support bipartisan, common-sense gun safety laws that save lives. Can you submit your response right now, before the midnight deadline?
Do you think we should make it EASIER to carry a concealed weapon in public?

BREAKING via THE WASHINGTON POST:
SUPREME COURT TO HEAR MAJOR GUN SAFETY CASE BACKED BY NRA
John, this is an all-hands-on-deck moment: At the same time that we've seen a devastating increase in mass shootings – and in firearm sales – a new Supreme Court case could put all our efforts to save lives from gun violence in jeopardy.
For the first time in decades, the Supreme Court is considering whether to lift restrictions on concealed-carry permits – dramatically increasing the number of people who could be carrying hidden weapons in public.
Experts are going as far as saying that this case could "make the NRA's dreams come true" – and increase the carrying of concealed weapons by 100 TIMES. John, this could not be more serious.
We can't make this decision for the Supreme Court – but we can make it clear that the majority of Americans support bipartisan, common-sense gun safety laws that save lives. That's exactly what Brady fights for every day. But we can only win if we do it together, and right now, we still haven't heard from you. We need another 12 responses from your area by midnight tonight, so please tell us before this poll closes:
Do you think we should make it EASIER to carry a concealed weapon in public?
