We wanted to let you know that our friends at SLATE (San Leandro for Accountability, Transparency, and Equity) are hosting a free, virtual information session on police oversight and advocacy on Thursday, June 3rd at 7:30 PM.
The goal of this event is to explore different models of police oversight, how police oversight relates to the important work of reimagining public safety, and how folks can help advocate for an effective model of police oversight in both the short-term and long-term.
