Following the GOP’s cowardly filibuster of the bill to create an independent January 6 commission, I’m calling on President Biden to create a presidential commission to investigate the insurrection.

I’ll never forget sitting in the House gallery with my colleagues when insurrectionists breached the Capitol -- and I’ll never stop fighting to do everything within my power to get to the bottom of what happened that day.
