Texas is on the verge of passing another bill in favor of election integrity. The Lone Star State already has strict voter rules in place. Like many other states, it requires voter ID. But this new bill would plug up holes many believe could be used to cheat. Democrats, for some strange reason, didn’t like the idea of Texas securing its elections. They even stormed out of the session, denying the quorum needed and stopping the vote. So, the governor announced that he would penalize anyone who refused to do their job.

Come hell or high water, Democrats seem ready to deny any moves to enforce voter integrity. They already claim voter ID laws deny Americans the ability to vote. You’d think they’d be more concerned with all the other things these ID-less Americans can’t do, but they only care about voting. But Republicans believe stronger voter integrity laws are needed all over the country. Texas, which has some of the strongest laws on the books, is trying to eliminate loopholes that could be exploited. Democrats tried to stop the bill from being passed. But the governor is not having it.

This isn't a holiday to be taken lightly, and the former President understands that perfectly. The Congressional Research Service (CRS) tells us that over 1 million Americans have given their lives in service to their country, dating back to the Revolutionary War. That's what we honor today: the ultimate sacrifice so many made, and we also take time to appreciate those who continue to serve the United States on a daily basis. Trump focused on our heroes in his official Memorial Day statement, and it went over very well with many citizens.
