In Virginia, we have no “off years” when it comes to elections -- and we know that can be exhausting. That’s why I want to personally thank you for being part of a team that gets no breaks from working to elect Virginia Democrats.

Here’s what we’ve been able to accomplish with you on our side:

• 2017: We elected a Democratic governor, lieutenant governor, and attorney general -- and we flipped 15 seats in the House of Delegates.
• 2018: We flipped three congressional districts blue and reelected Senator Kaine.
• 2019: We won a majority in the General Assembly, giving Democrats the first trifecta (control of the executive branch, the House of Delegates, and Virginia Senate) since 1993.
• 2020: We won a strong Biden victory, reelected Senator Warner, and sent back all of our House Democrats.

None of this would have happened without the support of Democrats like you, friend.

But our work isn’t done. In November of this year, Virginians will vote in competitive elections for governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, and the House of Delegates. Unfortunately, Virginia has a long history of handing the governor’s mansion to the party that does not hold the White House -- which means we need to work hard to break that trend.
