Send a message to the White House now.

Friend –

Yesterday, on the first day of Pride month, we sent a letter signed by over 50 organizations urging the White House to improve access to accurate IDs for trans, intersex, and non-binary people. Join us in this action by sending a similar message directly to the White House inbox now.

We've been pushing for this executive order since President Biden took office. Because when we can't access something as essential as an accurate ID – trans, intersex, and non-binary people are left open to discrimination and harassment every single day.

President Biden can single-handedly prevent this dangerous misgendering on federal records: Tell him to take action now. <[link removed]>

ACLU Supporter, we've already gotten the administration's attention. We delivered 68,000+ signatures from ACLU advocates like you – we held town halls, told our stories, and met with White House and agency officials to explain the impact of having an accurate ID.

The White House is listening, but now we need to keep pressing so that the president commits and signs an executive order ensuring accurate IDs for all: Send your message to President Biden.

On the campaign trail, LGBTQ communities showed up for President Biden. Now, especially amidst the ongoing attacks against trans and intersex youth across the nation, we're asking him to show up for us – not only for Pride, but always. Together, we can make sure he does.

Thank you for taking action,
