John,
I want you to meet Aisha and Na'aem. For three years, they've lived in Sahdah camp in southwest Yemen — and they are best friends.
Along with their families, they fled their homes to find safety. Yemen is plagued by war, poverty, malnutrition and cholera, making it the world's worst humanitarian crisis. But despite the extremely difficult challenges they face, Aisha and Na'aem are full of hope, passion and joy.
I hope you can take a minute, John, to watch this inspiring story about two best friends with big dreams in&nbs;Yemen:

Na'aem, 11, told us, "One day, I'll become a teacher — and Aisha will become a doctor. We'll put our salaries together and buy things to distribute in the camp. Every month we'll distribute things to a different camp. We'll buy them dishes, clothes, gloves, socks for the winter, everything."
"When I have a friend by my side, the whole world seems happier." — Aisha
With help from compassionate supporters like you, the International Rescue Committee is supporting families in Yemen by providing urgent health care, nutrition services, water and sanitation, and access to education for children like Aisha and Na'aem.
