Let us explain why your donation is so important right now.

In the first few weeks of announcing a Congressional campaign, most
candidates are expected to raise thousands of dollars just from their
family and friends. But Kina doesn’t have billionaires or corporate PAC
money behind her. Kina needs money in the bank to create the campaign
structure needed to defeat a well-connected incumbent backed by wealthy
donors.

Kina is a working-class organizer running a grassroots campaign against a
well-funded Democratic incumbent. We’ve seen this play out before and know
that it’s going to take people like yourself chipping in $3, $5, or
whatever they can for Kina to win.



Alexandria, Cori, Jamaal, and Marie all defeated out-of-touch Democratic
incumbents because of small-dollar donations from people like you. [ [link removed] ]And

Illinois’ 7th Congressional District is home to Chicago’s wealthy
financial district, giant tech companies, and big real estate developments
— while just a couple of miles away, the community struggles with
unemployment, gun violence, and unsafe drinking water. Congressman Danny
Davis has been a representative for health insurance companies, the real
estate industry, and big corporations, not the Chicagoans that elected
him. That is why we are excited about Kina’s people-powered campaign to
defeat him.

We know that our 750 grassroots donor goal is ambitious, but we need to
show the establishment that our campaign is strong enough to take on Rep.
