I have bad news, friend: I’ve run the numbers, and we officially fell short of the end-of-month fundraising goal we set for May. Making things worse, we’re only a week away from the Democratic primary!

Because Republicans nominated their statewide candidates already, they’ve had weeks to focus on fundraising exclusively for the general election. That means we’ll already be starting at a disadvantage -- we can’t make it even worse by missing our own fundraising goals!
As soon as the primary is over, we need to be ready to support all of our nominees with a robust voter outreach and turnout operation that spans every corner of the Commonwealth. Grassroots organizing was critical to turning Virginia blue, and it will be crucial to keeping it blue this November.
But all of our work depends on meeting our goals. Glenn Youngkin, Winsome Sears, and their Republican allies are counting on their special interest donors to pump millions into their campaigns, and we’re counting on grassroots support from people like you to help us fight back.
