One of the biggest travesties of a very bad Congress is the vote for political persecution of America First patriots - the "Truth Commission".
Whenever the Soviets had a "truth commission", it was always a pretext to settle scores against political enemies and COVER UP THE TRUTH, not investigate it.
Nancy Pelosi held the vote last week on creating a "Commission" to investigate the January 6 events at the Capitol. Every Democrat voted for it, proving that there are no "moderate Democrats".
What was enraging was that 35 RINOs joined her.
The text of the bill shows the intent! It starts out with a judgement, calling January 6 a ‘domestic terrorist attack on the Capitol’.
Well, if they are starting off by calling it that, there is no need to investigate, is there? They already came to a conclusion- and that conclusion was the most lopsided farce they could think of.
Make no mistake, they want to pin all America First patriots as "domestic terrorists". They just needed to give themselves a fig leaf.
Here's what I say: it wasn't an insurrection. You can't have an insurrection by people who were not armed. You can't have an insurrection when the Constitution guarantees the "right of assembly for the redress of grievances".
Then again, some RINOs never cared about the Constitution. For them, like Paul Ryan and John Boehner, it was always about "Orange Man Bad", and trying to attack President Trump's supporters.

But for most of these RINOs, it was not their first offense.
