Check out this toolkit with videos, and graphics, and stats, OH MY! (Get it? It's a Wizard of Oz reference. Like Judy Garland and the Rainbow. Friends of Dorothy. You get it.)
Hey John,
Happy Pride and welcome to Queer & Now! This month, Advocates for Youth will put a special emphasis on celebrating queer youth through themed posts and outreach all under the title, Queer & Now! Queer stories are young people’s stories, and we need to make sure queer people are reflected in history, health care, reproductive health and rights, and sex education. We’re queering it all!
We started today with this Instagram post we encourage you to share (just tap the paper airplane to add each slide to your story!)
And we proudly put together this Toolkit with a variety of resources, images, sample social media, and publications to support you in amplifying the voices and experiences of LGBTQ youth—this month, and every month!
For over 50 years, June has marked Pride Month, originating from the 1969 Stonewall Riots, a resistance movement against police brutality on LGBTQ+ people. We celebrate Pride to honor those who dedicated their lives to pave the way for queer people to unapologetically be themselves, free of oppression. We hope these resources help you join us online in whatever way you can.

Thanks so much!
