Friend,

In 2016, Maggie Hassan (D-NH) beat then-Senator Kelly Ayotte by the slimmest of margins, just 1,017 votes. Now up for reelection again in 2022, Senator Hassan faces an even steeper uphill battle against New Hampshire's Republican Governor Chris Sununu. And the outlook for Hassan doesn't look good.

Sabato's Crystal Ball: Maggie Hassan is “the most vulnerable Democratic Senate incumbent in the nation.”

In the deeply purple state of New Hampshire (the most bipartisan state in the Nation according to Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight) Sununu's massive 32-point re-election victory in 2020 spells even more trouble for Hassan's re-election chances. And it's no wonder that Mitch McConnell and National Republican Senatorial Committee Chairman, Rick Scott are begging Sununu to run.

We cannot risk losing a leader like Maggie Hassan in the Senate. Time and again she's proven that she's unafraid to take on the big fights and make a difference for working families. We especially can't risk losing her seat to someone like Chris Sununu. While Sununu pretends to be bipartisan, the reality is that he's in lock step with the rest of the GOP's far-right agenda. He parroted Trump's Big Lie to justify voter suppression laws in New Hampshire and even stood by the former President after Trump's “stand back and stand by” call to action of white nationalist groups.

That's why we've set an ambitious goal of $5,000 for our Secure the Senate fund so that Senator Hassan will have the full support of our grassroots network in her fight to hold the Democrats Senate majority.

Friend, defending and expanding our majority is of the utmost importance in the coming midterm elections, and Maggie Hassan is one of the most at-risk Democrats in 2022. We know you understand how fragile our Democratic majority is, but too many Democrats are ignoring this race and allowing Republicans like Chris Sununu to walk to victory. So please, will you donate $10, $25, $50, or whatever you can to help us win reelect Maggie and defend our Senate majority? >> [link removed]

We know we can count on you to always have our back. We can't thank you enough for helping us defeat incumbent Republicans in Colorado, Arizona, and Georgia in 2020 and win our majority. And we're honored to have you on our side again as we fight to defend our majority in 2022.

WDTO

P.S. Recent polling has shown Senator Hassan down 6-points to Sununu. This race is too important for national Democrats to ignore and is one of the most at-risk Democratic seats for the 2022 midterm elections. If we want to keep our majority then it's going to take all of us stepping up to help reelect Maggie in 2022. Can we count on you to chip in $25 today? [link removed]
