New Jersey Primary Election

Tuesday, June 8, 2021 is New Jersey Primary Election Day!?You may vote in person at your polling place, from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on election day, June 8.

Accommodations will be made for voters with disabilities. Registered voters can apply for a Vote-by-Mail Ballot.?

Virtual Juneteenth Event

In honor of Juneteenth, join the NJYD Black Caucus and special guests on June 17th at 6pm for a discussion on the history of Juneteenth and how increased attention to it over the past few years has helped shed light on recent developments on race in America.?Register here.

June Young Dem of the Month!

Meet our June Young Dem of the Month, Ahmet Akdag! Ahmet serves as?Secretary to Passaic County Young Democrats, Passaic County Democratic Committee Member, and Volunteer Training Captain for NJ for Biden. In 2019, he joined the newly formed Democratic Muslim Caucus.

He is an undergraduate student at the Harvard Extension School, majoring in International Relations with a minor in Government. He works as a business management and strategy consultant at a firm he founded. He also works as the Executive Director of the Common Security Corp. non-profit, which is focused on domestic human security.?Congratulations Ahmet, continue to shoot for the stars!?
