John,
With more than 400 suppression bills introduced this year, a federal response to protect voting rights is more urgent than ever.
The legislation exists. It passed the House earlier this year. But now the Senate needs to act to stand up for our democracy.
At DASS, we stand for a few core principles: simple and equitable voting access. The value of every citizen having a voice in our democracy. And the right of every eligible person to vote without fear of discrimination or disenfranchisement.
That’s what the For the People Act does: strengthens common-sense protections and helps more people vote.
It’s a simple solution, and a much-needed one. If you agree, we need your help.
We need you to speak up and call on the Senate to pass this crucial legislation. Because without it, 2022 and 2024 could be even more contentious than last year’s election. Add your name today to stand with DASS >> [[link removed]]
