Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids | Take Down Tobacco – Virtual Advocacy Symposium – June 21, 22, and 24 – 3-5pm ET

John,

This year, our Virtual Advocacy Symposium is open to any young person ages 13-24 who's ready to level-up their advocacy and create positive change!

It will take place over three virtual sessions on June 21, 22, and 24 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET each day. Participants must be able to attend all three sessions.

While we’ll focus on tobacco and social justice, participants will leave the Virtual Advocacy Symposium with an understanding of how to use their voice to change policy on any issue they care about.

Participants will also leave with:

  • A deep understanding of this critical moment in youth activism and how young people can continue to lead the fight for social justice and health equity.
  • Immediate actions they can take to help keep their peers tobacco-free, promote policies that protect their communities from tobacco, and create the first tobacco-free generation.
  • Connections with other young advocates from across the U.S.
  • Focused training and experiential learning on using social media as a key advocacy tool, including Instagram and TikTok.

The program is meant for both new and seasoned young advocates.

Attendees will be eligible to apply to be Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids Ambassadors for 2021-2022.

And whether attendees become Ambassadors or not, we'll provide support, updates on current events in tobacco control, and opportunities to take action throughout the year.

Youth and young adults: REGISTER TODAY >>

Adult allies: Pass it on to young advocates you know!

Best wishes,
