Come out and Canvass Sat 6/5 📋
Followed by a Film Screening Sunday 6/6 at Noni's! 🎥

Canvass on Saturday, June 5, 10:00-12:00 @ Perkerson Park: We will be canvassing the neighborhoods around Perkerson Park to discuss our demands and the FY22 budget with Atlanta residents. Party + Plot on Sunday, June 6, 4:00-7:00 @ Noni’s on Edgewood: We’ll be hosting a party and screening of stories collected during DARC’s latest campaign, #NotOurBudget. This will also be a space for organizers and Atlanta residents to discuss strategies for taking action against policing and prisons in our city.

Atlanta City Council is at it again! While they're gearing up to pass the FY22 budget with an increase of 6% to police funding, we're getting ready for DeFUNd Weekend! On Saturday June 5 10:00 AM we'll be canvassing at Perkerson Park talking to our neighbors about abolition & our demands for City Council to Defund APD and Refund Communities! (Read our demands and sign on here!) Then, unwind with us on Sunday 6/6 at 4:00 PM at Noni's for a film screening of testimonials from organizers and community members, explaining why this is #NotOurBudget! Want to help us out? Share our petition on socials with the hashtag #NotOurBudget!
