$1 Million Challenge Opportunity

Dear John,

You and I and millions of Bible-believing Americans have important work ahead as we stand for faith, family, and freedom.

Before he entered office, President Biden and his team promised that his cabinet picks would be "moderate," but they have turned out to be anything but.

They nominated Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, who plans to turn U.S. foreign policy into a megaphone for LGBT rights while America faces rising threats from around the world, as well as Secretary of Education Miguel Cordona, who champions biological males competing (and dominating) in girls' sports.

Conservative resistance did result in one extremist pick being withdrawn. Far-left progressive Neera Tanden was initially nominated to head up the Office and Management and Budget (OMB). Once enough senators spoke against her, the White House withdrew the nomination.

However, even such a victory was short-lived, as abortion-rights activist Shalanda Young, Biden's deputy director pick, has been leading the OMB as acting director in her stead. Meanwhile Tanden was shuffled to another position as a White House senior advisor.

This move demonstrates that despite the Senate's challenges to Biden's radical nominees, even the ones who have been defeated -- because their views are so extreme that even the Democrats cannot stomach them -- are still making their way into Biden's top policy positions.

Biden and the Democrats have had few qualms about assembling a team that is far to the left of the American mainstream.

Family Research Council stands for biblical principles -- regardless of the changing winds of politics and political figures. Our vision is a culture in which all human life is valued, families flourish, and religious liberty thrives.

It's why FRC is on the front lines every day -- vigilantly watching what the White House and their liberal allies in Congress, the media, Big Business, and Big Tech are up to so that we can keep concerned Americans like you informed and equipped to respond.

But we can't do it without your faithful support!

Today, FRC needs your help to stand against an anti-biblical, anti-constitutional liberal agenda. Our June 30 fiscal year deadline is almost here and we must raise $3 million this month to continue our work of championing biblical truth.

Generous FRC supporters have committed $1,000,000 as a challenge match to DOUBLE the impact of your gift and help us meet that goal.

DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT NOW

John, our work in impacting America is only beginning. But as you know, it starts with taking God's Word seriously and recognizing our role in the current moment.

Regardless of who sits in the Oval Office, wields the speaker's gavel, or lives in the governor's mansion in your state, the scriptural command to pray in Jesus's name for our leaders remains. Christ calls us to bless even those with whom we disagree (Mt. 5:44).

I encourage you to join us every Wednesday evening for our Pray Vote Stand broadcasts as we discuss current events through a biblical lens and provide powerful resources like our Prayer Guide for America's Leaders.

The Bible gives us clear instruction on how believers should begin every day:

"First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way." -- 1 Timothy 2:1-2 (ESV)

This exhortation from the apostle Paul is a convicting message each of us should take to heart. Before we begin our day, pray over meals, or bring our other petitions before God, the Bible says to "first of all" pray for those in authority.

Today, that means praying for our city council members, mayors, state representatives, members of Congress, governors, Supreme Court justices...and for President Joe Biden and his cabinet of radically liberal advisors. (We were never promised prayer would be easy.)

Just as we prayed for President Trump and others before him, we pray for President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. Each morning I pray that God would turn their hearts as He does the rivers of waters (Prov. 21:1) toward the truth and that which is good for our nation.

Additionally, I pray that as they yield themselves to His truth, that He will bless the work of their hands and that a blessing would be upon their administration.

Will you commit to stand with FRC in the gap for our nation -- in prayer and support? Then step forward and help us activate this $1 Million Challenge!

Conflicts over these fundamental principles play out in many spheres, from the courts to Congress, from foreign policy to the federal budget.

We at FRC are on a mission to equip men and women all over the nation to stand for biblical truth and to ensure we are all free to pass these values on to our children and grandchildren.

In fact, thousands of pastors nationwide receive our updates that help them inform and activate their congregations with the truth in these deceptive times.

How can we respond to the Left's radical agenda?

We must continually return to the Word of God for His eternal wisdom. "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds," wrote the apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 10:4 (ESV).

Those "weapons" the apostle Paul speaks of are ones we know well: the Bible (which is sharper than any two-edged sword), the testimonies of God's work in our lives, and our prayers.

I thank you for joining me in committing to pray and for your generous support of FRC so we can be fully resourced to face the challenges to our faith, our families, and our freedom.
