It’s Don, Sean’s campaign manager.

Sean’s up against his last monthly fundraising deadline before our critical FEC public reporting deadline. I’ll let the numbers speak for themselves -- if we can’t bring in $3,470 before midnight TONIGHT we won’t be able to hit our goal in time.

Missing our goal will impact our ability to open field offices, organize grassroots supporters, and train volunteers down the line. Falling short is not a luxury we have -- Sean was the first Democrat to win this district in 46 years.

We have to work just as hard as we did in 2018 and 2020 if we want to defend this seat. Especially since Illinois is about to lose a House seat, and we won’t know what our district map will look like for months due to delays in census data!

I’m meeting with Sean first thing tomorrow morning to update him on our fundraising progress. Will you pitch in to our end-of-month goal before midnight tonight so that I can let him know we have the resources we need to organize in the months ahead?

I really don’t want Sean to start off the next month with bad news. But I know this team has what it takes to turn things around overnight.
