Hi John,
It's not every day that Cori emails, so we want to make sure you saw her
message from earlier. With hours to go until our May end-of-month
fundraising deadline, we're only 2% away from hitting our goal.
We can't afford to miss this goal — especially now that potential future
challengers are measuring the strength of our progressive movement based
off our fundraising numbers. It’s also critically important that Cori has
the support she needs to successfully unveil a historic plan to transform
our system of public safety.
[ [link removed] ]John, can
you be one of the last donors from xxxxxx to put us over the
edge? Please, chip in $5 or whatever you can before midnight to help power
this movement for the fights to come.
In solidarity,
Team Cori

John,
I need your support. We're coming up on our May end-of-month deadline
tonight at midnight, and right now we're still 5% short of our must-hit
fundraising goal.
I'm proud to say I have received the most small-dollar donations of all
new Democratic members of the House. That wouldn’t be possible without
your support. Together, we are sending a powerful message to the world of
what’s possible with people power. I didn't win my election with the help
of corporate PACs or political insiders, I won because of grassroots
supporters like you. Now, I need your help again if we're going to reach
this goal before midnight.
[ [link removed] ]John, if
you can, will you make a donation of $5 or more to help hit our critical
fundraising goal so our team has the resources to keep working for real
justice for our communities?
[ [link removed] ]Help us reach our goal!
John, let me
tell you why your donation today is so important.
I'm not a career politician — I'm a single mom, nurse, activist,
organizer, and pastor. I ran for Congress to put regular, everyday people
first because I've lived the struggles of working people in our community
myself.
That means, when I discuss police violence, it's personal to me.
When I discuss environmental justice, it's personal to me.
When I discuss Medicare for All, it's personal to me.
When I discuss the Black maternal health crisis, it's personal to me.
When I discuss guaranteed housing, it's personal to me.
When I discuss a minimum wage of at least $15/hr, it's personal to me.
I won’t rest until we bring our anti-racist, progressive agenda to life.
But my race was decided by just three points in 2020. That means folks are
all but guaranteed to come out of the woodwork to try and take this seat,
whether that be GOP megadonors or less-than-progressive primary
challengers who want to return to the status quo.
That’s why we’re investing early — from reaching out to voters, recruiting
volunteers, and hiring staff — to prepare for the journey ahead. I’m more
motivated than ever to keep working to bring transformative change to all
of our communities, but I can’t do it without your help.
[ [link removed] ]If you want to support this work, please chip in $5 or whatever you
can before midnight tonight to show the strength of our anti-racist
progressive movement.
