You might not know this, but Democrats “actually aided and abetted” the January 6 insurrection.
Not, not really. But that's what Arizona Rep. Paul Gosar is telling millions of Americans on a conspiracy theory show that streams on Facebook. According to Gosar, Democrats are pushing a “narrative” of January 6 and the pandemic “to really put a persecution on this country, to change its demographic.”
Gosar's racist claims wouldn't concern us if we didn't know that millions of people in this country are listening and acting on them. We all know what happened on January 6. It isn't a “narrative” or a “rally that got out of hand.” It was a violent attack on our nation's Capitol, and Republicans opened the door.
This white supremacist has been in Congress for over a decade -- and he's not alone anymore, team. He has a number of right-wing extremists helping him shape legislation all the way from Washington.
We're going to end Gosar's term this cycle, and the rest of his dangerous allies are going with him:
