Why is Kevin McCarthy so opposed to the Jan 6 commission? Is it his undying loyalty to Donald Trump? Is he terrified the commission will find members of his party who helped the insurrectionists?

We don’t know, John. But what we do know is that Kevin McCarthy and Donald Trump are both doing EVERYTHING they can to sweep the Republican assault on our democracy under the rug.

Facts and evidence don’t seem to matter, McCarthy will do anything to please Trump. It’s clear that McCarthy is a danger to our democracy, and we must not let Republicans regain the Majority -- because they will make him the next speaker.
