Memorial Day is a day to honor those who served and gave their lives for this country. It is also a day to reflect on what we have as Americans and the privilege we enjoy because of the sacrifices of others.

That theme brings new meaning to us on this Memorial Day because, for many, today is a day to spend with family and friends in a way that has been lost to us for over a year. It is also a time to think about those we have lost over the past year.

And it’s especially important to remember the Servicemembers we have lost. The Montana Democrats are holding our sons and daughters in all the Armed Forces in our thoughts and in our hearts.

Please join us in remembering and honoring them. We hope you have a wonderful and safe Memorial Day.
