Fellow Americans-

On Memorial Day, and every day, we Americans pay tribute to the brave men and women who gave their lives in the name of freedom, liberty, and the United States of America.

This is the greatest country on earth because of the sacrifice of those who served our nation in uniform.
On this day, I'm reminded of a quote from President Ronald Reagan, who stated on Memorial Day in 1982:

"The United States and the freedom for which it stands, the freedom for which they died, must endure and prosper. Their lives remind us that freedom is not bought cheaply. It has a cost; it imposes a burden. And just as they whom we commemorate were willing to sacrifice, so too must we—in a less final, less heroic way—be willing to give of ourselves."
I hope you will all take some time today to honor the bravery and sacrifice that so many gave, so that we may be free.

God bless America and all the heroes who have defended our great nation.
