Friend,
Today, on Memorial Day, we honor and salute the generations of
service members who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
As a former active-duty officer in the U.S. Air Force, this is a day
of particular significance to me. On Memorial Day, we grieve those who
never came home and express our gratitude to these patriots and their
families, who we all owe so much.
We are all in debt to those who died in uniform for their
incredible bravery and immense sacrifice. Our fallen heroes knew that
America is worth fighting for. They believed in our nation's ideals,
and it's our responsibility every day as Americans to live up to
them.
I'm grateful that many Americans will, once again, get to spend
today with loved ones after a challenging year that kept so many
apart. I'm also keeping in my thoughts all of the families who won't
get to spend today with a family member who died in service to our
nation. I hope you keep them in your thoughts as well.
Sincerely, Ted
