I got into
this fight for a reason.

For too long, big special interests have used their money to influence
Congress to put millionaires and billionaires before struggling working
families.

I’m here to change that.

I ran for Congress to fight tooth and nail for working families every day.
To repair our democracy through campaign finance reform. To listen to
scientists and do what’s right for our country and the world when it comes
to fighting COVID-19 as well as climate change. To fix our economy so it
works for the people, not corporations. To make healthcare affordable and
accessible to each and every person in this country. To raise the minimum
wage so every person can not only survive, but thrive.

And if there’s one thing I’ve learned during my time in Congress, it’s
that this work is a marathon, not a sprint.

Now that we’ve gotten Trump out of office, it’s more important than ever
that we continue to grow and expand our progressive movement so we can
continue making real change.
