I’m so grateful for my campaign team. They just showed me my latest fundraising results – and wow! It’s so encouraging to read the name of each person who has humbled me with their hard-earned support.

But as I’m refreshing my ActBlue page and doing the math, I’m noticing I’m still short of my $1,832 goal before my midnight deadline.

As a congresswoman, I have a packed schedule these days. Right now, I’m spending my time fighting for gun safety legislation, putting Floridians back to work and protecting our voting rights, so I don’t always get the chance to check in on my fundraising progress. That’s why I’m so happy to see all the donations coming across my screen right now and why I’m hoping I can count on you to give just a little more to help me hit my important goal before my deadline.

I’ll tell you why I’m asking you for your $5. I know my Republican opponent is all in to win against me – and upend all the progress we’ve made together. I simply can’t let that happen!

That’s why I can’t afford to miss goals like this – or waste any time. And since there are only a few hours left until midnight (and my bedtime), I’d love to watch that number go up on my screen while I still have time to look!
