Fellow Conservative,

It’s easy to get lost in enjoying the three-day weekend provided by Memorial Day, but I want to encourage everyone to take some time today to really reflect on what it means.

Our freedom in America was bought and paid for by those who risked their lives on the battlefield, and on Memorial Day, we remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

Lives have been lost defending American liberty and fighting tyranny from the first battles of the Revolution to the most recent War on Terror, and every single one deserves honor and recognition.

We owe them a debt of gratitude. Without them, our country wouldn’t exist at all. Let’s all remember the sacrifices others have made for us, and do what we can to honor those who laid their lives down.
