We know it's Memorial Day, but we have an urgent request for you as we approach the end of May. Democrats across the country are fighting hard in their states to fight back against Republican voter suppression and use the lessons we learned in 2020 to defeat the party of Trump in 2022. 

Even last night, the Texas House Democrats showed remarkable courage by staging a mass walkout to prevent the passage of a voter suppression bill worse than the bill passed by Georgia Republicans.

Stopping these bills is only half the battle. Here in Georgia, we have to muster the same courage as Texas Democrats if we want to win next year. The Georgia Blue Project is preparing to be on the frontline of the effort to turnout rural Democrats and net more victories in the state legislature and the state executive branch. But if we don't stay on track to reach our end-of-year goal, our ability to join the fight will be severely diminished.

Meeting this end-of-month goal is critical. The odds of us making the necessary impact on the 2022 elections are slim to none if we cannot get to the $5,000 mark by May 31st.
