Hey John, we know it’s a holiday weekend, but we really needed to reach out to you again — one more time before the month is out. Yesterday, we let you know that the DCCC raised a whopping $12.2 in April, pulling in big checks from corporate PACs and Wall Street.
Thanks so much for whatever you can contribute,
Team JD

Subject: “DCCC Has Best Ever April Fundraising Month”
John, it's hard to contend with the Democratic establishment because of how much corporate and Wall Street cash it brings in. That’s why we need a movement to transform the Democratic Party, and you to chip in to support our movement right now.
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) said that it raised a whopping $12.2 million in April — the most it has ever raised in the month of April. The DCCC raises these huge sums of money from special interests determined to undermine progress. So much of DCCC support goes to corporate Democrats who want to stop Medicare for All and the Green New Deal. We have to stop this cycle.
We need to keep Democrats in control of Congress, but we desperately need to elect more working-class progressives who will really fight for working people. We need to elect more Democrats who will take bold stands for economic, social, racial, and environmental justice.
That’s what we’ve done ever since we helped elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the 9 other Justice Democrats in Congress. Now we need to elect even more of them.
We do it with zero corporate PAC donations and a lot less money than the DCCC. If we can raise just a tiny fraction of what the DCCC raised last month, we’ll be in a strong position to elect a wave of Justice Democrats to Congress who will fight for Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, and so much more.
We can only do this together.
In solidarity,
Justice Democrats
