John – I want to take today to reflect on the monumental sacrifice of the brave men and women who gave their lives for our country. It is our responsibility to hold near and dear the memories of those who lost their lives defending our country and uphold the values that they lost their lives defending. We owe them our freedom, our security, and our way of life. And we must acknowledge the immigrant members of the Armed Services who have given their lives for our country. Today, and every day, let’s work together to honor the members of our communities who gave their lives for our country by fighting to ensure that equity and democracy are preserved in this country.
