John,
Today, we commemorate those who lost their lives in the pursuit of our freedom. As we mourn our dearly departed, we pause to honor their unbelievable bravery and courage.
We remember the Black men and women who fought to defend our rights and freedoms, even before their own rights were guaranteed.
Those who died in service to our country deserve our utmost respect. People of all colors and national origins united behind one flag. It was their
sacrifice, their hard work, and their spirit that have allowed us to enjoy both safety and security. We offer our most sincere gratitude to those who lost their lives and our condolences to those they left behind.
As we celebrate our freedom today, we commit ourselves once more to the fight for an even better tomorrow. With the memory of our nation’s fallen at the forefront of our mind, we promise to continue to push forward and honor their legacy.
For without their heroism, our lives would not be the same.
