Wisconsin hangs in the balance.
Just days ago, our General Counsel traveled to the state and provided expert testimony on the merits of Article V in a critical Senate Committee hearing.
Securing a strong “yes” vote on the Convention of States resolution in this committee is the first step towards Wisconsin joining our growing list of states who are standing up to the federal government.
We expect a vote any day now.
But, as our movement continues to build steam, anti-liberty organizations are getting nervous.
Common Cause, funded by George Soros, is now actively organizing their base to launch a “state-by-state battle to block and rescind calls for an Article V Convention.” They wrote, “We have no choice but to immediately step up our grassroots response to defeat this effort.”
We refuse to let these anti-liberty organizations win.
