Sacrifice and courage. 

Every Memorial Day we think about those traits, and we think about the generations of Americans who have paid the ultimate price so that we can live in a country full of freedom.

The least we can do for those who have laid down their lives in the line of duty is to honor and remember their sacrifice and courage.

That’s why Mike, along with fellow Rep. Jason Crow, has been working since 2019 to establish a Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) Memorial on our National Mall in Washington, DC.

This memorial will serve as a place where veterans, families, and civilians alike can reflect on the immense sacrifice of those who served in the GWOT.

John, in observance of today’s holiday, we ask that you join us in honoring America’s heroes.
