I know you get a lot of emails like this. I hope you’ll give me a minute to explain why they’re so important, and why I need your support now more than ever.

Thanks to you, we defied the odds and took back the Senate. We passed historic COVID-19 relief to get shots in arms and checks in pockets, and we’re seeing the light at the end of the tunnel of this pandemic.

And there is tremendous work ahead: fighting climate change, protecting the right to choose, expanding access and lowering costs for health care, getting dark money out of politics, and so much more. But all our progress will be erased if Mitch McConnell takes back control of the Senate.

With a fragile 50-50 majority, Republicans are just one seat away from flipping the Senate — and they’re hoping that seat will be mine. In 2016 I won one of the closest Senate races of all time by just 1,017 votes, and I’m one of the most vulnerable incumbent Democrats running in 2022.

These emails are important because I’m not relying on dark money super PACS. I have something better: you. 

That’s why I’m humbly asking you to chip in today before our end-of-month fundraising deadline at midnight tonight. In a race this close, every dollar makes a difference.
