John, today is a day of remembrance.

On this Memorial Day, I'm remembering the countless Americans who sacrificed their lives in service to their country. We cannot forget the brave men and women who paid the ultimate price defending our democracy and all the freedoms we enjoy.

Today, I invite you to join me in taking a moment to recognize and honor all of those we've lost at home and abroad in the defense of our nation. We honor them by remembering, by giving thanks, and by continuing to always defend the ideals that make up this great country.
